FAQ

COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT SHIPPING:

* Why is the bread not frozen when I receive it?
Our bread is flash-frozen immediately after baking, is shipped to us frozen, and we store it frozen. We ship to you by the best shipping option. In the winter, we use a regular cardboard box, in the summer, depending on the order and how many days it will travel, we MAY add ice packs or insulate.

If you are within two days ground shipping of our warehouse (in Paramount, CA) we will ship ground. When you receive the bread, it WILL BE THAWED but still very fresh. You can either put it in the fridge, where it should keep up to two weeks, or freeze it. There is no loss of quality during the refreezing, and the bread will last several months.

* I ordered on Thursday, but you did not ship my order until Monday. Why did you wait?
If you have ordered perishable products, we do not ship unless you will receive your product by Saturday. Courier companies store packages in a non air-conditioned warehouse over the weekend. We don't want your food to spoil, so we hold the perishable portion of your order until Monday, and then ship it.

* Part of my order arrived, and the rest arrived two days later. What happened?
Perishable items MAY be shipping separately via Priority Mail, especially if you placed a big order. Non-perishable items are shipped ground.

* IMPORTANT!!
If you are ordering frozen food and will not be there to receive it, make sure you make arrangements with someone to pick it up and it does not sit in the sun all day, we will not be responsible for spoils due to this situation. Federal Express usually delivers in the morning, if you are at work during the day, please arrange for someone to pick up your box, especially if it will sit in the sun all day.

* IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM THE MAKERS OF EAT RITE PRODUCTS:

Due to lateness, heat, etc., it is not unusual for your food to arrive unfrozen, and any gel packs, that may be included, could thaw as well.

DON'T PANIC- Remember, your food has already been fully cooked and pre-frozen when shipped to you.

Just place everything in your freezer to re-freeze, nothing will spoil. The food may also be kept in your refrigerator up to a week until you're ready to use.

For best results, if time allows, let frozen meals thaw overnight in your refrigerator, before warming.
